Red signal

Red Signal -
Sunset at the Edge of the City

A sunset, caught in motion. But the camera has turned an ordinary evening moment into something primal and disorienting.

The red disc dominates – not a setting sun anymore but a presence, a burning planet suspended in dark blue sky. Three tiny yellow spheres sit at its horizon like distant moons, absurdly small against the overwhelming red. A blinding white flare tears across the upper right like a streak of lightning. Below, the city streaks and dissolves in long vertical smears of gold and amber – buildings, signs, reflections all pulled downward by movement into pure luminous abstraction.

The sun is the one still thing in a world that has come undone around it. Calm, circular, indifferent – while the city below melts into streaks of fire and the sky above deepens toward night.

The sun sets the same way every evening. Only sometimes does the camera tell the truth about it.
