Ignition -
The Forest as Pure Energy
White silence – then fire.
Against a stark white ground, forms rise that evoke trees stripped to their essence: black verticals anchor the composition like charred trunks, while cascades of red and yellow explode outward in every direction. The marks are simultaneously organic and violent – part root system, part lightning strike, part combustion.
The palette is uncompromising. Black, white, red, yellow – nothing softened, nothing blended. Each color claims its territory with raw urgency. The yellow core at the center burns hottest, radiating outward into red, as if we are witnessing the precise moment a tree ignites.
Yet there is also rhythm here, even beauty. The cascading lines fall with a strange grace, like weeping willows caught in a firestorm.
This is not destruction depicted – it is energy made visible.
