The Garden -
After the Descent
A red rose holds its shape in the upper left — the one legible thing, the one that still belongs to the world as we know it. Everything around it has been subjected to some other logic: a vast pink form intrudes from above like a bruised sky or a torn poster, layered over dark foliage and stone in colours that gardens do not produce on their own. Magenta, cobalt, teal. The vocabulary of screens, not soil.
At the centre, something electric and blue flares where a flower might have been — spiked, urgent, too vivid to be botanical. This is a garden that has never been seen by anyone. Beautiful, excessive, wrong. The rose watches from its corner, red and patient, waiting for the rest to settle back into sense.
The image feels like a garden dreaming of itself.
