Last fruit

Last Fruit -
The Branch That Still Carries Fire

A winter branch, stripped and grey, holds its last berries against an empty sky. In monochrome, this would be a study in endurance – the stubborn persistence of fruit past its season. But the image refuses that quietness.

Where the berries cluster, colour erupts: orange and yellow burn at their cores like small embers, red streaks outward like heat escaping. Cyan scratches fall through the background like cold rain or electric discharge, and soft circles of bokeh drift beneath the branch like breath made visible.

The grey world and the burning one coexist without resolution. The branch belongs to winter. The colour belongs to something that winter cannot quite extinguish.

Even at the end of the season, something insists on burning.
